More On Online Voting

It seems that I'm not the only one talking about the dangers of online voting...

There's no guarantee that proponents won't push this through before it's ready. And that could seriously undermine an election. I guess it won't hit home until we have another debacle... Thousands of electronic ballots not counted due to a server crash... Absentee ballots totally thrown out due to more electronic votes cast than registered voters... Hackers breaking into the servers and electing Linus Torvalds for US President....

The risks (to honest processes) and rewards (for tampering) are far too great to move too swiftly in the wrong direction.
