Ancillary Cert

My MCSA Welcome Package arrived today. Has it been 4 weeks already? How time flies when the sun shines...

The package brought with it mixed feelings. I never intended to become MCSA certified... I didn't even know about it until Microsoft pointed it out to me in an email. And here it is...another certificate - suitable for framing. This makes six...none of which are framed. Even if they were framed, which should I hang on the wall? All of them? A select few? How do you select which ones?

As Commodore Norrington said, it "throws into sharp relief that which I have not yet achieved."

It has been 4 weeks and the MCSE exam isn't even scheduled yet. l don't have an "office" ... not even enough wall space to hang more than one or two. I haven't found "my next job" yet so even if I *did* have wall space, I don't want to settle in and start hanging certs.

Somebody call the whaaaambulance...

Well...the one thing I do have is a thick badge lanyard. I've put the other 4 lapel pins (CompTIA doesn't have one) on it. A coworker calls it my "flair"...

Here's to having another piece of flair........
