Song of Heavy Notes

Release the heavy chains
And hand me the eye, sister
So I may see
Who the intruder is
My heart should have stayed shut
For the havoc wrought
My body is Achilles' heel
With a stone in his shoe
I wish to be wholly in the river.
Although I have searched for it
I stole no one's fire
But tried to give mine away
They took it and roasted me with it,
I tried to cry today
And like everything else
I did it wrong.
Hera, take me home.
