Without looking, I can guarantee that it's a purple moon tonight. I don't even have to look; I know it's there. How do I know? Because Tracy just told me that she wanted to make her own graphics. *faint* Maybe it's because her homepage revision will be for her new domain... Nah, I like the purple moon explanation better.
*does happy graphics dance*
Okay, enough merriment for one evening. It's back to the salt mines to work on my own homepage revamp for the new home. I'm very excited about the look of my new page. It's very plain and simple, but the graphics were made with my own two little mouseclicks (Ms Left and Ms Right) and it all matches!
I've been driven to distraction trying to find the right navigational tools for the page. I have three sections - photos, poems and comics - that will require constant updates to their menus. I already have a top nav bar for the entire site. I was looking for some type of vertical menu that could go in the left column of the page. I'd like the content to be updated by an external file (easier to enter new additions). Try as I might, I couldn't find anything like that... *heavy sigh*
Luckily I stumbled across a pretty little "Thumbnail Navigator" from JavaScript Source. It's perfect for the photo section. It might even work for the comics section. But I don't think it's going to work well for the poetry section. I currently have my poetry section in *shudder* f-r-a-m-e-s. *spit* It's the only way I could have a separate navigation file (so I don't have to update each page to add a new file). I hate the way it looks. And I hate f-r-a-m-e-s. *spit*
