The site marker lists her as "Lizbeth Andrews" -- She hated the name "Lizzie" because of the song people used to sing... And her real middle name was Andrew -- after her father. At some point, she just decided to change her name. She never got it legally changed, however, Lisbeth Andrews Borden was the name she used.

According to the tour guide, after the murders, the people in Fall River didn't want anything to do with her. But, she had a lot of friends in Boston - mostly theater people. She used to throw lavish parties for her theater friends...

She lived with her sister for most of her life and is now buried next to her. At some point, the two had a "falling out." Emma suddenly moved out and the two never spoke again. They both died in the same year -- 10 days apart.
