Another to my SDRR Love

The rain fell down and flooded my sight
But I didn't seem to notice at all
Using the electrical will in my heart
Each time the damn car would stall.
I had to keep going to learn the roads
That lead from my life to you
I never thought you would return my call
Thinking it was your final adieu.
But waking this morning to the telephone ring
And hearing your voice on the phone
Made me realize that all was not lost -
You did not leave me alone.
I spent the day in excitement
Thinking of you all the while
Your kiss, your touch, your golden hair
The way I love your smile.
Minutes, they pass like ice through a sieve
Until we are once more together
I'm trying hard, but I don't think I'll last
I hate this dismal weather!
The rain fell in torrents and flooded the ground
My car this time would not start
When I realized that I need travel no more
I found you right here in my heart.
Sweet dreams.
