Basic Fears

You scare me
Not just because you're
Bigger than I am
Nor because I can read your mind
At times.
What scares me more, though
Is that you can read mine.
Does it matter?
Or are there walls
You have yet to climb?
I know and you know
But I don't think
That you want like I want
Even though
We both want
Are you scared
Of your surroundings?
My fear is of a different kind
It screams
You.
