Colors

My father is brown
Boring chocolate ice cream
A neutral tone
Blending in with the business world.
My mother is violet
Flowers and terry cloth
A pastel shade
The feminine robe of royalty.
My sister is pink
Gumballs and small barettes
A color for baby girls
And the cheeks of Kewpie dolls.
My brother is red
Fire engines and race cars
A primary color
Bold and demanding attention.
I am blue
The wind and water
First on the color wheel
The military medal of honor.
