Guided Meditation Instructions

These guided meditations are offered for your personal use. They are designed to guide you to a relaxed state and should not be used in a moving automobile or while operating machinery. Depending on your development and practice, they may or may not induce a self-hypnotic state. There are no explicit nor implied warranties associated with these texts. Your actual results will vary depending on your own abilities and repeated use may assist you in your development. Your path is your own and I wish you well.

It is difficult to read and meditate at the same time. For best results, print out the text you wish to use and read it into a tape recorder. Use a calm and soothing voice and don't rush through the words. Read the text a few times to prepare yourself for taping so that the words will flow naturally. The more conversational your tone, the easier it will be to relax and follow the guidance. If you are uncomfortable with the sound of your own voice, ask a friend to read the text for you. Once you have recorded the instructions, find a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed. You may sit in a comfortable chair, however, you may find it easier to relax in a prone position (laying down).

You will want to incorporate some type of instrumental music with the meditation. There are many tapes and CDs available which can provoke a meditative state. You can either play this music in the background while creating the tape, or while listening to the tape as it is played back. Most meditation music produces a general meditative state. The addition of the guided meditation will focus your intent to produce a specific result from the session.

Incense and properly placed crystals can enhance the meditation experience, but are not required. If you use either, please "do your homework" and make sure that the scent and/or crystals are in keeping with the intent of the meditation. As always, practice and experimentation will help you to find the combination that suits you and your purpose. You are the only one who knows what's right for you and only you can know what's comfortable for you. The idea is to make you comfortable and relaxed so that you can gently direct your mind in a certain direction.

I have used these meditations many times with positive results. I wish you peace on your journey and hope your experience is helpful to you.
