When your view of the world is change
Situations are temporary
No grand highs or suicidal lows
In times things pass
Anything you don't like
You can change to suit you
Eliminates sadness
Anything you do like
Can change to desert you
Eliminates passion
When my view of the world is constant
Situations are forever
Bastions of security and black clouds
Stay where they're put
Anything I don't like
Is a solid brick wall
To bang my head against
Anything I do like
Must forever stay that way
Photographs and memories
I wish we could learn
From our unborn child
