Toe-Tapping

I make myself busy
Taking on enough hobbies to overcrowd me
To crowd you out
So I won't think of you
Yet, I do.
I busy myself with ordering my life
While I'm trying to not think of you
At the same time I'm making ready for you
For when you do come around.
As you hang your head to cry
Feeling so alone--you're not
Soon you will see
Love has not eluded you
But has waited for you
To arrive.
