Clark's Point Lighthouse is in New Bedford, Massachusetts. There are three lighthouses in New Bedford: Palmer's Island, Butler Flats and Clark's Point. [Plus a house with a lighthouse on top by Butler Flats.] Clark's Point is on Fort Taber and is open to the public. You can't get up close or go inside the 'fort area' where the lighthouse resides, but you can take pictures from around it. From the dock to the left of Clark's Point, you can see the Butler Flats light to the left and Clark's Point to the right. And from the hurricane barrier, you can see the Palmer's Island light to the left and Butler Flats light to the right. [Butler Flats and the aforementioned pictures will be in the next post.]
