Sakonnet Point

The Sakonnet Point Light can be found in Little Compton, Rhode Island. You can see it from the beach, but it is in the distance.

Sakonnet Point is quite a wild and rugged spot, isn't it? I go down there a lot and am always amazed by the high winds, rough seas, and the feeling that I'm at the edge of the world. Hard to believe it's only about 15 miles from Fall River! And driving down Route 77 to get to Sakonnet is a memorable ride.
