365 Days

365 days have just gone by
Think of all the tears that have been cried
And the long days of pain, disgust and scorn
Are you any wiser, or just worn?
365 days have just elapsed
Remember the good times you hoped would last
With all the laughter, smiles and glee
Is it all just a memory?
365 days have all just went
Some worthwhile, some uselessly spent
Days add up to week, month and year
Have you made a difference here?
365 days from up above
Time to give and feel love
The mental, emotional and physical kind
Are you happy or just blind?
365 days more to come
Live them like they're the last one
Learn and laugh and make your mark
Isn't a torch lit by only a spark?
