KC

It's always winter in my heart
Not because it's cold to you
Or because it's summer and
I need to cool off
Nor because it's winter and
I must face reality, but
I can still see you standing
By the Lamp Post Inn
Wearing your long gray coat
With your smiling Chinese eyes
Waiting for me
I'm sitting in a car
Mid hitch-hike
Having a beer and forced
Polite conversation
A price I pay
A cost you ignore
