Over The Tears Through The Years

My life, my heart, my hopes
Have been given new vigor
And I cried too many tears
For someone I can no longer name
I thought I was in love --
I was
And I do still love
But I am no longer
In love;
Love is now in me
Driving me onward
And when I want to stop
It carries me to the finish line
It makes me cross barriers
I didn't think I could
Pay the toll for
But now I know
That I can go on
And love again...
