Pepsi

A six-pack of Pepsi
Warily hides behind the diet cans
Protected and camoflaged
The last of your cube
That was slowly picked off
One excuse at a time

A full set of keys sits ready
On the basket atop my bureau
They would come in handy
For out-of-town visitors
No - I couldn't do that
I'd make another set

A beautiful set of hand-carved Runes
Remains upon the altar
To the Goddess of Dust
By now they're so charged
I'm surprised they haven't
Cast themselves
