Song of Myself

Push ahead lonely fool
Grasping at strings and
Pulling them close
You wait, and opportunity
Not only knocks, but leaves
Because you could not answer.
Why are you mute
At your trial and sentencing?
It will not stay the execution
Only cause it.
Your lawyer works the strangest hours
And you pay dearly for it.
