The Base

Send to me
Vistages of your love
And I will collect these shadows
Building upon them
Fearing not
That I should construct
Too much
For a building
Void of a strong foundation
Shall easily crumble
But I shall be careful
To see that time
Does not erode
The temple of our love
Instead the days
Should prove the substance
And I shall be strong
In your absence
Having the patience
To wait for
What I've been looking
To find...
