Fort Pickering

This is the Fort Pickering Light. It's on Winter Island in Salem, Massachusetts. It can be easily reached, but they will charge you to park in the lot near it. [Cost $15 on the weekends]

I like this photo because it looks more like a painting than a photo.

It looks very scary to me. All lighthouses look scary to me...even though they very idea of them--safety--imply otherwise. Nice photo, Lori. Your eye has much improved.
