The lighthouse theme comes from a hobby that I started a few years ago. It began with a picture that my sister drew of the Nauset Light on Cape Cod. I hung it in my kitchen and somehow decided that my entire kitchen would have a lighthouse theme. I have lighthouse curtains, dishes and my entire back wall is covered in lighthouse photos.
The first lighthouse pictures I took were of Nobska Light. I snapped off a few rolls of film there and didn't get a chance to take any more lighthouse pics for a while. Then I heard about a 'Lighthouse Cruise' through the Narragansett Bay. The cruise enabled me to add a few more pics to the collection. Unfortunately, it was before I acquired my 80-200 lens, so only the closer lighthouse pics were clear enough to make enlargements. Now I have not only a 80-200 lens, but a 3.2MP 15x digital camera. It's a wonderful thing. Yet, some of the lighthouses are still best seen by boat.
Not all of the lighthouses in RI and Mass are represented. (I haven't visited them all yet...) And some of the pics are of lighthouse-related items.
It's a theme. Go with it.

Beautiful theme-- it's a hobby of mine to take photographs of lighthouses too! (So far, only several lighthouses from MA, NC, NY, MD and NJ)

I should hope the answer above is true to the best of my knowledge.
Don't rag on me for being up so late. I must have had caffeine in the ice tea I had at dinner. At least it enabled me to finally get to see the sites you wanted me to look at a week or so ago. It had been too hot to come up here and spend time on my computer. I still have a huge amount of e-mails I haven't looked at yet.
Hope this gives you a chuckle or two...all right, I can hear you groaning about this e-mail. I will go to bed now....to Bed to Bed to B-E-D! Does that bring back some memories????? :>) Love you Mommee! *giggle*
