Palmer's Island light is in New Bedford, MA. It's not very far from where I live. It's behind the hurricane barrier and a bit difficult to find. If you wind your way around the warehouses, you'll eventually come to the hurricane barrier gate. The road is closed to the public, but you can walk around the gate and down the barrier to see the lighthouse.

As you walk the barrier, you'll see the tip of the lighthouse first. It will look like it's on an island, but it's actually on the other side of the island. If you go during low tide, you can actually walk from the barrier to the island and get a closer shot. Here's what it looks like as you approach it:

This isn't one of them, but I think its so awesome when I end up seeing lighthouses that I've actually been to! :) Keep up the good work!
