Wing's Neck

This is the Wing's Neck Light in Bourne, Massachusetts. The lighthouse is on private grounds and this is as close as you can get for a picture. The road dead ends at a locked gate and I leaned over the gate to take the shot.

Some of the lighthouses are on Coast Guard property, others are on private property, and several are on public property. Depending on their ownership, access can vary. I found that the privately owned ones can sometimes be accessed with a smile and a large dose of politeness. It all depends.
